VALLEJO, Calif. (KGO) -- The Vallejo police were conducting a training session inside city hall Monday and it may involve smoke and fake gunshots.

The session started at 8 a.m. and would last until about 4 p.m.

The first half of the training involved crisis negotiators and tactical dispatchers responding to a violent scenario.

Simulated gun shots or smoke coming may come from city hall during the training. There may also be a SWAT command vehicle on Santa Clara Street. This is the first time police are training inside Vallejo City Hall.
