The White House went into lockdown on Tuesday afternoon after a man tried to jump the fence of the neighboring Eisenhower Executive Office Building, according to the U.S. Secret Service.

The Secret Service said that a preliminary investigation indicated the man was fleeing the scene of a robbery nearby.

DC Fire and EMS tweeted that a suspected fence jumper was being transported to the hospital for evaluation of a minor hand injury.
