Winning Fantasy 5 lotto ticket sold in Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- A winning lottery ticket worth more than a quarter million dollars from Tuesday's Fantasy 5 game was purchased in Santa Rosa, California Lottery officials said.

The ticket holder will be $283,860 richer after Tuesday night's draw.

The winning ticket was purchased at MD Liquor & Food, located at 500 Mission Blvd. in Santa Rosa.

The store will earn a nearly $1,420 bonus, or one-half of 1 percent of the winning amount, for selling the ticket.

The winner has yet to come forward. The ticket owner has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the prize, officials said.

The winning numbers were 26, 23, 24, 27 and 14.
