Woman reportedly groped near Stanford University

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Police are investigating a groping incident near Stanford University.

A woman says she was assaulted near Stanford Avenue and Raimundo Way, shorly after 6 p.m. Thursday.

She reported the incident to Stanford police and described the suspect as a white man in his mid-twenties, about 6' 3" with a thin build. He had short hair, a light beard. He was wearing a light blue shirt with blue jeans.

She says he was walking a grey pit bull.

According to the victim, the man also had a tattoo with unknown writing on his right arm.
