Woman rescued in car near San Pablo Dam
CHP and firefighters have rescued a woman that went off the road in her car near the San Pablo Dam Reservoir.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- CHP and firefighters have rescued a woman that went off the road in her car near the San Pablo Dam Reservoir.

The woman called 911 at 2:47 a.m. and was rescued at 4:07 a.m. She was stuck on a remote hillside between Orinda and El Sobrante. The woman was driving on San Pablo Dam Road when her tire locked up and she crashed.

The woman said she could hear the rescuers sirens and she was honking her horn, but it took a helicopter to help locate her.

The car has been towed and there is no word on her condition.
