SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A morning walk went wrong in San Francisco when a small dog fell through a hole in the sidewalk and had to be rescued.

The hole is 7 feet deep.

At least five firefighters worked to rescue the pooch, named Tiny.

The owner is grateful. She says her 15-year-old dog is blind, which explains how he fell down the hole.

The good news is Tiny is now safe and sound.
