Meet Calico, the traveling African Pygmy Hedgehog

Is this the cutest travel companion you've ever seen?

Calico is a 2-year-old African Pygmy Hedgehog who takes adventures all over the U.S. Her owner documents it on Instagram, where Calico is becoming quite the celebrity.

Based in Florida, the little voyager has been to Charleston, Washington D.C., and even across the country to Glacier National Park and Seattle.

Calico's owner, who prefers to remain anonymous, told ABC how it was discovered that Calico is an excellent travel companion.

"When I had to go out of town once, I couldn't leave Calico at home so I took her along and she's been traveling ever since!" the owner wrote. "Calico is a really good traveller and it's really fun to take her to new places."
