Piglet found alone in San Francisco gets forever home

This little piggy is going all the way to a new home.

Janice the piglet was found earlier this month lost and alone near Dolores Park in San Francisco.

Brother Damien Joseph of the Society of St. Francis helped catch the little pig and was on hand when representatives came to take to her forever home.

"It's so nice to see her again when she is a little less panicked," Joseph told ABC. "She wasn't wagging her tail and eating when we saw her out on the street. She was real scared."

Janice was adopted by the Sonoma County Reptile Rescue. The organization plans to have Janice visit schools as part of its educational program.
