Some dogs go crazy for bacon, these dogs love to eat...apples!

Dexter and Hendricks look like ordinary dogs.

They love to jump and play in their yard.

But these two dogs black Labradors have an unusual set of taste buds. They love to eat apples!

Once they ate all the apples that had fallen on the ground, they were excited to discover their new favorite snack grows on trees.

In this video, you can see the two dogs excitedly bark up at the tree as they spot more apples above their heads and leap to try and reach them.

The dogs' owners say one of the pooches is a more accomplished apple picker than the other.

"Dexter has become really good at this and can be seen jumping fairly high and picking an apple at the end of the video," their owners told The Daily Mail. "He occasionally shares with Hendricks who isn't quite such a good jumper!

"This has become their favorite game and they have spent plenty of time doing this today, too."

You can see, their hard work eventually pays off as Dexter manages to grab an apple in his jaws and quickly sets about devouring it.

The owners can be heard in the background exclaiming: 'He got it!'
