Hillary Clinton to make history by accepting nomination in final night of DNC
PHILADELPHIA (KGO) -- The fourth and final night of the Democratic Convention is underway in Philadelphia and Hillary Clinton will make history and formally accept the nomination for president.
Clinton has been holed up in a hotel room in Philadelphia working on her speech and putting on the finishing touches.

Basking in the afterglow of Wednesday night's rousing endorsement from president Obama, Clinton will take center stage to give the most important speech of her career.
"There has never been a man or a woman, not me, not Bill, nobody more qualified to serve as President of the United States of America," said President Obama.

Titled "Stronger Together," Clinton is expected to focus on themes that have played out through the week especially her plan for the future.
"There's that old line, no one cares about your yesterdays, they care about their tomorrows. So you've got to talk about the future. What the president has done has laid an incredible foundation," said Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Chelsea Clinton will introduce her mother.
"Well, I hope to convey even just a small sense of why I'm so proud and grateful to be her daughter," said Chelsea Clinton.

Clinton's speech will come as some California delegates are still not convinced hers is the best path forward.
"We would need to hear that she's going to get a different VP than Tim Kaine. He's not a real liberal. He's not even a real Democrat if you ask most Democrats in the country what are the real values they stand for," said San Francisco delegate Ben Becker.
"There's some high tensions, can't deny that, but I think it's exciting and its democracy and the Bernie people need to take a lot of pride. I think that they helped push this platform," said Walnut Creek delegate Monica Fitzgerald.
