Patagonia: 'The president stole your land'
Patagonia has posted a blaring message on its website following the announcement that Trump is downsizing two national monuments in Utah.

WASHINGTON (KGO) -- Outdoor clothing company Patagonia has posted a blaring message on its website following the announcement Monday that President Trump is dramatically downsizing two national monuments in Utah.

"The President stole your land," reads their website. "In an illegal move, the president just reduced the size of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments. This is the largest elimination of protected land in American history."

Trump's move was also met with protests in Utah and San Francisco by environmentalists and some Native Americans who say the action will open the public land to mining and drilling.
