Check out this stunning, infrared glimpse into the Orion Nebula
The European Southern Observatory used its Very Large Telescope to capture the image.

The European Southern Observatory (ESO) captured a stunning image of the Orion Nebula.

The image was obtained from "multiple exposures using the HAWK-I infrared camera on ESO's Very Large Telescope in Chile," according to the ESO. It's the deepest view ever of the region and "reveals many more very faint planetary-mass objects than expected."
