VIDEO: Humpback whale breaches water over boaters in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY (KGO) -- This whale seemed like it was looking for a hug when it breached within a few feet of a boat Thursday.

It happened in New Jersey. The boaters were about a mile from the Verrazano Narrows Bridge when a huge humpback whale breached the water. Apparently, it didn't scare the crew.

They were heard laughing afterward as you watch the video in the player above.
