Low tablets sales expected this holiday season

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Tablets are not expected to be on many wish lists this holiday season.

Tablets have had a terrible year and that trend is expected to continue.

Apple's iPad sales have been going down for three straight quarters.

Experts suggest people hold onto tablets longer in comparison to smartphones, which are often replaced every two years when owner's cell phone contracts are renewed.
