59th anniversary of the peace symbol celebration in Berkeley

BERKELEY, Calif. (KGO) -- A celebration took place on President's Day in Berkeley to mark the 59th anniversary of the peace symbol, an essential part of the Peace Movement.

Musicians, poets, and comedians performed and shared their thoughts on how there could be a lasting peace and joyful resistance.

The event was sponsored by the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists.
