When a kindergartner sent a wish list to Santa on a red balloon, she probably didn't expect it to be answered by a guy named Terry. Terry Hardin was on his way home from work when he saw the red balloon descend slowly towards him. A note attached read, "Dear Santa, I would like to have a mermaid doll with a bow for Christmas. Thank you. Love, Joie." With the help of Facebook. Hardin was able to track down Joie and her kindergarten class, and get her the gift she wanted.

The young man in return left an encouraging note for the single mother, paid the family's bill and gave them a Pizza Hut gift card.
