NEWARK, Calif. (KGO) -- A Bay Area brother and sister's rendition of "Let it Go" put them in the running to be in a Kohl's commercial.

They beat out thousands of others to become one of the final 10 contestants.

"I'm one with the wind and sky. Let it go, let it go. He'll never see me cry," Allayna Slate said.

Dax and Allayna of Newark sang the parts of Olaf and Elsa for the Disney's "Frozen" video competition.

The winner will be in a Kohl's commercial at the end of the American Music Awards on November 23 on ABC7 News.

Allayna said she and her brother have seen the movie many times, but had to work hard to memorize the lyrics to "Let It Go."

"My mom just like printed them up for me and I sang them over and over and I memorized them. When I found out I was one of the 10 finalists, I literally had to scream when I got home," Allayna said.
