MC Hammer, Mayor-elect Libby Schaff hand out turkeys in West Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- MC Hammer and Mayor-elect Libby Schaff handed out turkeys in West Oakland on Tuesday.

They helped the Oakland Food Pantry give out more than 600 turkeys to many residents in need. They also got fresh fruits, vegetables and bread.

They were allowed to pick and choose what they wanted, just like they would at a supermarket.
