We want to give a Better Days Shout-Out to Braeden Baldwin from Orinda who qualified for the finals in Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit and Run Competition.

The 8-year-old got a trip to Miami for All-Star week and took part in the finals on Monday. He was honored on national TV during the Home Run Derby.

Braeden finished third in the country and he even got to shag balls during the derby.

Mom and dad said they are incredibly proud, and so are we - congratulations Braeden.

When you see something good, record a video or take a pic and let us know! Fill out the form below to tell us who you think deserves a shout-out. We'll show them some love every way we can; on TV, on social media and right here on our website. Like we always say, better days start with ABC7 Mornings.
