READING, Pa. (KGO) -- A Pennsylvania town is rallying around a holiday tree that has brought it plenty of grief -- good grief.
The Norway spruce has been compared to the scraggly tree in "A Charlie Brown Christmas." But, bare spots and all, city officials have decided to keep it and show it a little love.
They've already wrapped it in a Linus-style blanket and added a single red ornament, Charlie Brown style.
Now they're inviting everyone in town to come out Saturday night and add to the makeover.
A hockey team already got things rolling by donating ornaments.
