VIRGINIA (KGO) --A high school girl in Virginia received some superstar help to ask a classmate to the prom.
Juwaan Espinal, 17, was lured to a lacrosse game Thursday night where Morgan Assel was ready to pop the question in a big way.
The young man with cerebral palsy was pushed down the track toward a banner that read, "I know I'm not as cool as RGIII, but will you go to the prom with me?"
Behind the sign, was superstar quarterback Robert Griffin III, Juwan's favorite player. "You can tell he's filled with life. We make time in our schedules for stuff like this because it's so worth it," Griffin said.
"I'm just really excited and really grateful that RGIII came to help Juwaan. It just really means a lot that people are willing to do this for him because he's such a special person and he really deserves it," Morgan said.
Juwaan's answer was an enthusiastic "yes."
His mom was equally excited, saying in a time when you see so many negative stories about children, something like this happens and it makes you feel good.
