Many individuals who claim to have been abducted by aliens have enjoyed their experience. They will be the ones celebrating today.

April 13: National Scrabble Day
If you love playing the world's favorite board game, pledge to yourself that you'll play Scrabble on this day.

April 14: International Moment of Laughter Day
What's important about today is that you try to bring about laughter (and happiness) to those you come in contact with. How you decide to make people laugh is up to you!

May 4: Star Wars Day
The perfect day to celebrate your favorite intergalactic tale, it is. May the 4th be with you!

June 4: Hug Your Cat Day
You should be hugging your favorite feline every day anyways, but give that furry friend a little extra love on this day.

Your dog probably sits at home all day and wonders what you are doing. Today is the day it discovers what that is. Let's just hope your furry friend can handle the commute.

We consume roughly 860 million packages of hot dogs a day - that's definitely something to celebrate! Eat a hot dog today... or two... or three.

July 28: National Milk Chocolate Day
Chocolate milk is both delicious AND nutritious on this day -- at least that's what we tell ourselves.

August 9: Book Lovers Day
Today is a day to grab a book and get reading -- get your bookworm on! If you fall asleep, it's okay. That's all part of the relaxing benefits of reading.

August 13: Left Handers Day
We salute you, left handers. You may do things a little bit differently, but you do them just as well. Today is your day.

September 5: Cheese Pizza Day
Love songs have been written about pizza, so why shouldn't it have its own holiday? Whether it's thick-crust or thin, cheese pizza is a love that will last forever.

September 19: Talk Like a Pirate Day
Ahoy! Today is a day to talk like a swashbuckler and no one can do anything about it. Arr!

October 2: Name Your Car Day
We spend a lot of time in our cars, so why not give them a name? Make sure to choose one that best fits your car's special personality.

October 25: World Pasta Day
This day celebrates the consumption of pasta all over the world. Pasta will always have a special place in our hearts -- and stomachs. Bon appetit!

November 3: Sandwich Day
Today is the day to thank the Earl of Sandwich for thinking outside of the box when he put meat between two pieces of bread -- we can't imagine life without sandwiches.

November 15: Clean Your Refrigerator Day
Today is the day to say goodbye to that two-month-old bologna. Your family will thank you.

December 8: Brownie Day
It's hard not to love something with so much chocolate-y goodness. Bake yourself a batch today and don't forget the milk.

December 23: Festivus
