Granada High students create skate camp for special needs kids
We want to give a Better Days shout out to a couple of students at Granada High School in Livermore who started a skate camp for special needs kids.

LIVERMORE, Calif. (KGO) -- We want to give a Better Days Shout-Out to a couple of students at Granada High School in Livermore.

Thomas and James started the Dragon Skate Camp to teach kids with special needs how to skateboard. James teaches and Thomas focuses on organizing everything behind the scenes.

Their first camp had 10 skaters earlier this year and it was such a hit they're doing another camp this week with 12 new skaters. Thomas and James say the kids are having an incredible time.

They want to thank the volunteer instructors, Street Science Skate Shop and the Taylor Family Foundation for their support.

When you see something good, record a video or take a pic and let us know! Fill out the form below to tell us who you think deserves a shout-out. We'll show them some love every way we can; on TV, on social media and right here on our website. Like we always say, better days start with ABC7 Mornings.
