Teen cancer patient says goodbye to family, friends
Before she enters hospice care, Morgan Long wanted one last hurrah

DULUTH, MN -- Every teen loves a good party, even when doctors say it might be their last.

Morgan Long is just 19-years-old, but has been fighting cancer for the last 18 years.

Diagnosed at just 17 months, Morgan endured doctor's visits and treatments while juggling school and friends.

Now the teen is about to enter into uncharted territory after her doctors revealed she will not win her fight, KQDS reports.

Morgan will soon enter hospice care, but before she goes, she decided she'd do something this week that many teens take for granted: she'd throw a party.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate the teen's life with laughs and tears.

Morgan reminded her loved ones to carry with them a single mantra, 'Hakuna Matata,' which means no worried to those she'll soon leave behind.

The teen had butterflies, her favorite insect, released over the crowd, a reminder to all of life and a flight that will end all too soon.
