Teen transforms school locker into vending machine
A Kansas teen's homemade vending machine in his locker inspires school administrators.

An innovative teenager from Kansas created a vending machine in his locker at school and started making big bucks.

Blake Hawkins says he loves building things, so he created the "Soda Locker" inside his high school locker.

For 75 cents, Hawkins locker built gizmo, provided cold sodas on request.

It didn't take long for word spread around the school and before he knew it he was selling more sodas than he could handle.

Once school administrators found out about Hawkins business endeavors they shut it down, citing that it violated several school policies.

But now the school is considering making the "Soda Locker" a fundraising tool to help school programs.
