HOUSTON -- 2015 is off to a great start for someone in our area who just hit it big in the Texas Lottery.

A ticket worth $14.5 million for Wednesday night's drawing was sold at the Fairfield Food Mart at 15038 Mason Road in Cypress.

"Happy New Year and big congratulations to last night's Lotto Texas jackpot winner," said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery, in a press release issued this morning. "We want to remind players today to check their numbers and if you have the winning ticket, sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until you are able to come to Austin and claim the prize. We look forward to meeting the winner."

The winning numbers were 3-6-14-43-44-50.

The winner selected the cash value option at the time of purchase, which is an estimated $10.23 million. That winner now has 180 days to claim the money.

The Fairfield Food Mart is eligible for a bonus of approximately $145,000 for selling the winning ticket.
