Many are calling it the old "switcheroo" -- a 10-year-old boy caught a foul ball at Saturday's Texas Rangers game and then gave a young woman seated behind him a different ball. But Austin Chaney says that he wasn't trying to trick anyone.

"I was told if I got another ball, I should give it to someone else, so I turned around," he said. "I thought I was going to give it to someone deep down there, and I saw her right in front of me and I gave it to her."

Austin got some razzing by his teammates, who called him "Hollywood" for all the attention he received on highlights shows nationwide.

Austin's mom laughs at the notion that her son was trying to woo the girl with a gift ball, saying he "trips over the wind blowing!"
