American astronauts Reid Wiseman and Steve Swanson had their heads shaved after the U.S. fell to Germany in the World Cup Thursday.

They lost a friendly wager to German space station crewmember Alexander Gerst.

The already bald Gerst would have had an American flag drawn on his head if the Germans had lost.

The United States and Germany could conceivably play again if they both make it to the final game.
