Bay Area kids get Super Bowl experience of a lifetime at Moscone Center

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There are plenty of big NFL stars at the NFL Experience at Moscone Center Wednesday, but one Bay Area native getting huge attention is a little girl named Marlo Mosely.

The NFL Experience is where kids, and even an adult, can break a little sweat and test their NFL skills.

There are several 49ers and Raiders players here helping out.

Several hundred kids from all around the Bay Area are here because they committed to and followed through with playing 60 minutes a day.

One of them is Mosely, an elementary school student from San Jose who is the NFL Play 60 Super Bowl contest winner.

She gets a bunch of honors and prizes but the biggest is handing off the game ball to the officials at Super Bowl 50.

"A little nervous seriously because all these fans are going to be watching me on television and at the stadium. So it's going to be hectic but I think I'll find a way," Mosely said.

"It's really big. As a kid, any time I had any chance of getting in contact with anyone in a professional level, it was a big experience and I remember it to this day," 49ers cornerback Kenneth Acker said.

All the kids completed the NFL Play 60 Challenge in the months leading up to the Super Bowl.

After playing here in the Play 60 Zone, they'll have flag football games a little bit later.
