MILWAUKEE -- Former Oakland infielder Eric Sogard has agreed to a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers and will attend major league spring training.

Sogard hit .247 with one homer and 37 RBI in 120 games for Athletics this year and stole six bases in seven attempts.

The Brewers announced the agreement Thursday along with minor league deals for pitcher Hiram Burgos. And left-hander Andy Oliver, who spent last season in the Orioles organization. Burgos and Oliver also will report to major league camp.

Those moves came a day after free agent left-hander Tommy Milone agreed to a $1.25 million, one-year contract that also includes performance bonuses. A six-year veteran, Milone was 3-5 with a 5.71 ERA in 12 starts and seven relief appearances with Minnesota last season.

Milone's addition gives Milwaukee a lefty to potentially compete for a spot in an otherwise right-handed starting rotation.
