SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The city by the bay is ready for Friday's third game of the World Series. [br /][br /]Vendors, restaurant owners, and of course, fans have been gearing up for the match-up between the Giants and the Kansas City Royals. [br /][br /]The Kansas City Royals were met by fans waiting to collect autographs at Union Square. Thursday morning they had breakfast at Lefty O'Doul's surrounded by Giants memorabilia. [br /][br /]The last time the Royals won a world series was in 1985. [br /][br /]"I'm just happy to be here," Ryan Picollio said. "It's kinda hard to believe we are here. We hope to we win."[br /][br /]There is a lot of excitement throughout the city. Restaurants like Water Bar on the Embarcadero brought in 5,000 extra oysters and champagne with the Giants logo. [br /][br /]"We'll be popping a few of those, really looking forward to the Giants and the Royals, hoping for a Giants victory so we could pour even more champagne," Pete Sittnick, an employee of Water Bar, said. [br /][br /][b][url HREF="http://abc7news.com/sports/photos-sf-giants-fans-show-playoff-pride/330847/" TARGET="" REL=""]PHOTOS: SF Giants fans show off playoff pride![/url][/b][br /][post ID="330847" /][br /][br /]Across the bridge, the general manager of Bar Bocce in Sausalito says he was inspired by the Giants win that got them to the World Series.[br /][br /]"My father and I were at the game and we were celebrating and the whole stadium was screaming, Bochy, Bochy, and being the general manager here, it resonated and a light bulb went off right away," Tyler Higgins, of Bar Bocce said.
