SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Giants pitchers and catchers report to spring training in two weeks, but the season officially began Saturday with their annual FanFest.

San Francisco Giants fans lined up outside AT&T Park to get up close to the World Series Champions. Some die-hard fans even set up tents outside AT&T Park Friday night to be among the first in line to get up close to Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey and other players and coaches.

"I want autographs of my boys, I love them, they're like my friends. I watch their games every day," Karen Morris said.

A majority of the players and coaches were at AT&T Park to meet and greet with fans.

"Really excited for Fanfest this year since they are the World Champions and I'm looking to get eight to 10 signatures," John Paul Havercamp said.

It was a great day for everyone because this is the first time they've seen each other as a team since the World Series Parade in October.
