SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Hundreds of Giants fans gathered in the Civic Center Plaza to watch Game 6 of the World Series on the Jumbotron screen but left stunned and disappointed after the team's loss.

Giants fans quietly got up and left after Tuesday's game, unsure of what to make of the 10-0 blowout loss.

"I'm surprised that they scored so many runs. I was surprised our starting pitcher was taken out so early," another fan said.

Some fans didn't even wait until the game was over to leave the viewing party at Civic Center Plaza.

Hundreds gathered outside San Francisco City Hall to watch the game. Fans decked themselves out in orange and black, wore panda hats and waved rally towels.

Tiffany McClendon brought her two month daughter Emily.

"She's got about 10 Giants jerseys," McClendon said.

She's little, but according to her mother, she's already a huge fan.

"I'm a big fan, so she's going to be a big fan from birth," she added.

By the second inning, the Giants were in trouble. The crowd continued to cheer, hoping for a comeback. It just didn't happen, forcing a Game 7. Game 7 will also be broadcast from Civic Center Plaza and that begins at 5:07 p.m.
