Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested on Monday after shoplifting at the Dillard's location at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Texas. Randle was reported to have shoplifted a bottle of cologne and underwear from the store.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Randle was stopped by a security officer in the mall's parking lot and was escorted back into the store to return the lost items. The total value of the items was $123.50 before taxes. Randle was then arrested by Frisco police and charged with theft, a Class B misdemeanor. He was released after posting bail on Tuesday morning. The arrest report states Randle said "should have just kept walking to his car if he knew he would be arrested."

Randle's base salary with the Dallas Cowboys for the 2014 season is $495,000. Randle is behind DeMarco Murray on the depth chart, but was still able to run for 52 yards in a win against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Randle played college football for Oklahoma State University, and was drafted by the Cowboys in 2013.
