Thursday night's game was filled with highs and lows, with MLS All Star fans in blue and Arsenal fans in red.

Avaya Stadium overflowed with color and plenty of cuteness. "My father grew up in north London, supporting them his whole life. So he raised me doing the same and I plan to raise the little one here doing the same," Los Angeles resident Adam Lemberger said of his baby.

The annual All-Star game pits select players from the league against an international club. It's a rare opportunity for fans to see their favorite athletes in action.

"Soccer is, you know, a beautiful game. Everyone loves soccer. Everyone can get together and have a good time. I think it's like an international, like it has no boundaries," San Jose resident Momo Cha said.

It also gives the pros a chance to become fans as well. "It's been really relaxing, no pressure. Just get to sit here and drink water and watch the game," San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Shea Salinas said.

The game ended with Arsenal beating the All-Stars. Outside, anxious fans waited for the gunners to leave the stadium.

"When they come, I'm just going to bombard them with flowers and try to get as close to my gunners as I can," one fan said.

In the end, the plan worked. It was a night that soccer fan will never forget.
