Special Olympics athletes partner with local law enforcement for torch run

GILROY, Calif. (KGO) -- Special Olympics athletes partnered with local law enforcement Wednesday morning to jog from Gilroy to Morgan Hill.

The torch run, celebrating the start of the upcoming Special Olympics, drew athletes and law enforcement from across Northern California.

The torch will make its way through Cupertino, Los Gatos, and San Jose on Thursday.
