Before Kevin Durant's eight NBA All-Star selections, four league scoring titles and 2014 MVP award, the Golden State Warriors forward played basketball in Austin for the University of Texas Longhorns. Durant spent the 2006-07 season on the 40 Acres, where he led the Horns to a 25-10 record, while averaging 25.8 points and 11.1 rebounds.

Durant & Co. reached the second round of the NCAA tournament, losing to Southern California. The standout forward claimed the John R. Wooden Award and the Naismith College Player of the Year Award in his only collegiate season.

Durant and Nike announced this week that the Texas men's basketball team will wear the Nike Zoom KD 9 "Texas" shoe for Saturday's Big 12 game against the No. 3 Kansas Jayhawks at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN/WatchESPN.

The sneakers, white and burnt orange, will be available on March 3 for $150.
