Warriors' Draymond Green out against Mavs with toe sprain

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been ruled out for Saturday's game against theMavericks in Dallas because of a lingering toe sprain.

He is also likely to miss Sunday's game against the San Antonio Spurs, coach Steve Kerr said Saturday.

Green missed two games last week against theMilwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets because of the sprained right toe and right foot that has "lingering soreness."

He was suspended for Tuesday's win over the Atlanta Hawks for "conduct detrimental to the team" following a verbal altercation with teammateKevin Durant during and after a Monday night loss to the LA Clippers.

In Green's return from the suspension, the Warriors were blown out by the Houston Rockets107-86 on Thursday night. It was the their worst performance of the season.

Green will join Stephen Curry (left groin strain) on the sideline. The Warriors announced Wednesday that Curry would not play during the three games of their Texas road trip.

Forward Alfonzo McKinnie is also out Saturday, Kerr said.
