OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- It's back to Cleveland for the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs boarded a plane bound for Ohio and, on Tuesday, they'll try to do what they haven't done in 40 years - win an NBA championship.

Dub Nation couldn't be more excited. Fans say they are watching history in the making.

For some fans, watching the Dubs play in the finals is a sweet reminder of 1975, when the team last won the championship.

"Last night was historical, of course. It was fantastic," fan Bobby Gavin said.

As a DJ played, people partied at the Oracle Arena in celebration.

Crews were busy on Monday, gladly cleaning up all the confetti left over, but they'll be back Tuesday night for the Warriors viewing party.

Tickets sold at $15 apiece and we met a few fans who were lucky enough to get some.

"I think it's just going to be as big as the game," fan Jilanne Perez said.

"I haven't told anyone that I have a tickets on purpose," another fan Yvette Austin said.

Tickets are sold out but for those who really want to go, the resale market starts at $50 and goes as high as $800 on StubHub.

Gary and Gilda Andreacchi remember what it was like in 1975.

"That night, we went for our honeymoon up in Tahoe. While we were there, I said I want room service at 9 a.m. so I could watch the Warriors win the championship. And they did 40 years ago," Gary said.

The couple is rooting for another win. That would make their 40th anniversary even more memorable.

"He's very superstitious. He has to watch it at the same place. Everything has to be the same. I can't talk. So that's what we do," Gilda said.

"And I wear the same outfit," Gary added.

That couple certainly had a lot of great stories to share.

There will be 19,000 at the viewing party Tuesday at Oracle Arena, watching the game on the jumbo tron. All except Gary, of course, who said he has to keep with tradition and watch the game from home.

But wherever you are watching the game, the Warriors will be proud to know "Strength in Numbers" truly will be felt and seen at home.
