Warriors' second round series start dates, ticket sales

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- The Warriors are gearing up for the Western Conference Semifinals. The team practiced on Monday in Oakland for the series.

The NBA announced Golden State's first game of the second round will be Sunday, May 3 if the Memphis-Portland series ends in six games or less. If it goes seven games, the Warriors won't play until Tuesday, May 5.

On Saturday, the Warriors completed a four game sweep of the Pelicans in New Orleans.

Playoff tickets for the next round go on sale on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. Season ticket holders have first priority and their seats will go on sale Wednesday morning.

There are 12,000 others on a priority waiting list and those tickets will be available Wednesday afternoon. Those that join the Warrior Insiders and maybe get tickets Thursday morning.

If there are any tickets left, they'll go on sale Thursday afternoon.
