Updates/analysis (most recent first)

LeSean McCoy (12:15 p.m. ET): We already knew that Shady is out for Sunday's game. However, Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports tweeted that an "MRI showed new tear, 3-4 wk expected FULL recovery. Long as he's intent on being 100%, that's timeframe." That would be a tough blow go fantasy owners who have McCoy. Hopefully, you handcuffed McCoy with rookie Karlos Williams, who would see a heavy workload in the interim.

Jonathan Stewart active (12:09 p.m. ET): RB Jonathan Stewart (tibia, probable) is active for the Carolina Panthers. He has an enticing matchup versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he had a plus-matchup last week against the New Orleans Saints and managed just 52 yards. Hopefully, he can get off the schneid this time around.

Arian Foster active (12:05 p.m. ET): RB Arian Foster (groin, questionable) will make his season debut for the Houston Texans today. He reportedly will not see a full workload, but with a nice matchup on tap versus the Falcons, you should plug him into your lineups, unless you have a particularly deep stable of running backs from which to choose.

DeMarco Murray active (11:58 a.m. ET): RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring, questionable) is active for the Philadelphia Eagles, but it remains uncertain how many touches he may get. Playing against a pretty good Washington defense on wet and poorly kept field, Murray will be a risky Week 4 play. It also makes things murkier for Ryan Mathews, who was hot last week.

Jay Cutler active (11:49 a.m. ET): QB Jay Cutler (hamstring, questionable) will return to action for the Chicago Bears on Sunday. That's particularly great news for RB Matt Forte and TE Martellus Bennett, both of whom should come through with impact games against a beatable Oakland Raiders defense. As expected, WR Alshon Jeffery is inactive.

Andrew Luck inactive (11:45 a.m. ET): QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, questionable) will not play for the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. While you can downgrade the Colts' pass-catchers, T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief should still be in lineups. RB Frank Gore should get a bump in usage, and you could do worse in two-QB leagues than to plug the veteran Matt Hasselbeck in at quarterback. With TE Dwayne Allen also inactive, Coby Fleener is an intriguing option as a safety net for Hasselbeck.

Arian Foster (11:08 a.m. ET): Ian Rapoport of NFL Network tweeted that although RB Arian Foster (groin, questionable) will make his season debut for the Houston Texans on Sunday, he will see "Limited/situational snaps. Then full go on Thursday". That was kind of the assumption all week, since the Texans face the Colts on short rest in Week 5. He has a nice matchup against the Falcons today, and despite the obvious risk involved in using him, should be in the mix as an RB2/Flex play.

Andrew Luck (9:04 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Chris Mortensen reports that QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, questionable) will not play for the Indianapolis Colts. Backup QBMatt Hasselbeck will be a genuine dart throw in fantasy. Downgrade all Colts pass-catchers.

DeMarco Murray (8:50 a.m. ET): ESPN's Britt McHenry cited a source who said that "I'd be surprised if he plays or how much they use" RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring, questionable). It sounds like he will be a risky fantasy option even if active for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Arian Foster (8:30 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports that RB Arian Foster (groin, questionable) is expected to play for the Houston Texans Sunday, barring a pregame setback. He has an enticing matchup with the Falcons and comes in as our No. 8 running back for Week 4.

Andrew Luck (8:24 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter cited a source Sunday morning who said that an MRI revealed that QB Andrew Luck (right shoulder, questionable) has a bruised shoulder, but "it is trending the right way." If active, the Indianapolis Colts' quarterback could be a sneaky roll of the dice in DFS games, because he has a nice matchup with the Jags and will be underowned.

Jay Cutler (8:19 a.m. ET): ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter tweeted that the Chicago Bears are optimistic that QB Jay Cutler (hamstring, questionable) will be able to play Sunday against the Raiders. Alshon Jeffery won't be in the mix, but if Cutler plays, it would be good news for TE Martellus Bennett, who is a high-end play versus a Raiders D that has struggled to keep tight ends in check.

Chris Ivory active (8:14 a.m. ET): RB Chris Ivory (quadriceps, probable) is active for the New York Jets, as expected. However, ESPN Jets reporter noted on Friday that, "Even if running back Chris Ivory plays, he probably won't fare well in fantasy because he's still not 100 percent. The coaches are concerned about his strained quadriceps and whether he'll be able to go a full game." So you may want to consider other options if you have them.

Eric Decker active (8:09 a.m. ET): WR Eric Decker (knee, questionable) is officially active for the New York Jets. He has an enticing matchup versus the Fins' struggling secondary and should be in all lineups.

Jordan Cameron active (8:05 a.m. ET): TE Jordan Cameron (groin, questionable) is active for the Miami Dolphins. He will tough it out again through his groin injury. Cameron has a tough matchup versus the Jets in London but still comes in as our No. 10 tight end for Week 4.

Eric Decker (7:52 a.m. ET): ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini reports that WR Eric Decker (knee, questionable) is expected to play for the New York Jets, barring a setback during warmups. Pop him into your lineups, as he should be an upside play against a struggling Dolphins secondary in London.

Official Sunday inactives should begin coming in at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET for the early set of games, 2:30 p.m. ET for the later set and 7:00 p.m. for the Sunday night contest.
