'Amazon for Teens' gives 13 to 17-year-olds moderated profiles
13 to 17-year-olds will be able to browse, read recommendations and place orders all on their own with the new program.

NEW YORK -- Amazon for Teens has launched, but parents will still have to pay the bill.

The program gives teens from the age of 13 to 17 their own profile. Teens will be able to browse, read recommendations and place orders all on their own.

After they've placed an order, parents will get either a text or email and can type the letter "Y" to approve the purchase.
