MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Google has come up with an Earth Day challenge for non-profits.

The Mountain View-based tech giant is asking non-profits in the United States to propose ideas for using Google Glass in their work.

The five charities that propose the best ideas for the wearable computer will get a free pair of glass, a trip to the Google campus for training and a $25,000 grant to help make their project a reality.
