San Francisco startup shows off virtual reality holodeck
Building a virtual world takes more than a desk and a laptop. For the entrepreneurs of virtual reality, a regular office simply won't do.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- For the entrepreneurs of virtual reality, a regular office simply won't do.

Like any startup space, there are tables and laptops but only UPLOADVR in San Francisco has the holodeck.

It's where they examine their creations, make their mistakes and test that new social game.

VR isn't just for games. There are companies who are working on much more serious experiences that have nothing to do with entertainment.
