SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The Golden Gate Bridge is too popular to keep everything open for the Super Bowl.

Bridge managers have decided to restrict both Vista Point and the Welcome Center to prevent traffic jams.

From this Friday through Super Bowl Sunday, people can only get there if in a tour bus, taxi, or a ride-share like Uber or Lyft that can people you off.

The closure will happen every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bridge managers say the days around Christmas proved Vista Point just can't handle the number of people who want to visit.
