Car goes into shallow water near Dumbarton Bridge

FREMONT, Calif. (KGO) -- A vehicle went off the side of the westbound approach to the Dumbarton Bridge and is resting in shallow water.

The driver claims he was cut off, the CHP is investigating.

Traffic is backed up onto Highway 84.

The driver was able to get out of the side window and was not injured.
