NB I-880 ramp to SB Hwy 101 reopened following repairs

SAN JOSE -- The connector ramp from northbound Interstate Highway 880 to southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose reopened ahead of schedule this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The ramp was closed early this morning for emergency repairs. A Sig-alert was issued at 4:14 a.m. and the ramp was estimated to reopen around 5 p.m., but it ended up reopening at about 8:20 a.m., CHP officials said.

The ramp will be closed again tonight for emergency pothole repairs, according to the CHP.
