High tide floods Manzanita Park-and-Ride lot, damaging cars

Marin County, Calif. (KGO) -- In Marin County, high tide flooded the Manzanita Park-and-Ride lot off Highway 101.

Vehicles parked in several inches of water on Wednesday. The high tide reached about six-and-a-half feet just before noon.

Some were actually damaged on Tuesday as the water reached vehicle floorboards.

The water also covered part of the Highway 101 and Shoreline Highway junction, nearly flooding a Halloween pumpkin sales lot.

Commuters can expect flooding to continue over the next few days.
