Two BART engineers are explaining that nearly 400 workers will be on the tracks in Oakland this weekend to do eight weeks of work in just three days, and they are leading the mission.

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Two BART engineers are explaining that nearly 400 workers will be on the tracks in Oakland this weekend to do eight weeks of work in just three days, and they are leading the mission.

It's part of a massive project that will cause the Lake Merritt BART Station to shutdown over Labor Day weekend and that's just a the beginning as BART is on a $400 million infrastructure replace and repair mission around to the Bay Area.
