Two lanes reopen after car fire on I-680 in Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL, Calif. -- Two lanes of southbound I-680 in Pleasant Hill have reopened following a car fire Tuesday evening.

Officers responded to the fire on southbound Highway 680 just north of Monument Boulevard around 5:45 p.m., CHP officials said.

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:53 p.m., according to the CHP.
